Designed by the French engineer Louis Courtot and manufactured by the American Radiator Company in 1928, the Corto radiator is a work of art in iron.
It all started with the vision and ambition of its creator, Courtot, who clearly and passionately stated back in the 1900’: “My ambition is to design a radiator of such artistic and refined elegance than in its finished state it may justly be regarded as an object of art.”
The water content of Corto radiator is equal to three fourths of a pound per square foot of heating surface. This assures quick and positive venting for all kinds of steam and vapor systems while in water installations provides a rapid circulation, making the radiator respond more quickly to immediate heating needs.
