This private home is located in the Beguinage of Diest – Belgium and it is one of the thirteen Flemish beguinages on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Founded in 1253, it was home to beguines, women who have led lives of religious devotion without joining an approved religious order. Today the buildings stand as listed properties. The owner of this private property chose to opt for efficient heating relying on reclaimed Corto cast iron radiators. To compliment the setting and its interior design the client chose bakelite switches.
